The UTokyo Amgen Scholars Program 2026 is now accepting applications. Students from all nations and areas are welcome to apply for this fully sponsored summer internship at the University of Tokyo. The program will run from June 4 to July 31, 2026, for a total of two months. International participants will have the chance to investigate possible higher education options at the University of Tokyo and experience campus life during the internship. In addition to lodging, meals, and airfare, interns will receive a stipend that can be applied to personal travel. Additional information is given below.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Students from the United States may apply using the specified link.
- European students may apply via the designated regional portal.
- Students from Oceania, New Zealand, and Australia can apply using the appropriate application link.
- Asian students earning a bachelor’s degree at an Asian university are qualified to apply.
- Candidates must have finished their undergraduate studies for at least a year.
- Before the internship begins, candidates must not have graduated.
- Participants must be available for the entirety of the program because it is a summer internship.

- must fulfill the standards for English language proficiency.
- should genuinely want to pursue a Ph.D. in the future.
