Mauritius Government Scholarships For Africans 2026 | Fully Funded

Talented students from member states of the African Union can receive fully financed awards through the Mauritius Government Scholarship. This scholarship pays for living expenses, education, and airfare to and from Mauritius. Instead of sending their applications straight to Mauritius, candidates must submit them through the Nominating Agency of their home country, which is typically the Ministry of Education. Up to five applicants may be chosen and nominated by each Nominating Agency for undergraduate programs, with each nominee’s level of study explicitly stated. The relevant Ministry or Agency then formally sends the chosen applications to Mauritius. Through this initiative, African students have a great chance to pursue higher education in Mauritius with full government funding.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • For undergraduate programs, applicants must be over 18 years old and under 26 years of age by 1 January 2027.
