KYOTO University Amgen Scholars Internship 2026 | Fully Funded

Applications for the KYOTO University Amgen Scholars Internship 2026 are now being accepted. Students from all academic backgrounds are welcome to participate in this fully funded eight-week summer program at Kyoto University in Japan. IELTS is not required for applicants enrolled in English-medium schools, and there is no minimum GPA requirement. The internship will run from June 5, 2026, to August 6, 2026. The chosen participants will get free lodging, flights, and a stipend. Under the supervision of a faculty mentor from Kyoto University, interns will gain knowledge and skills. During their visit, they will also have the opportunity to see Kyoto’s well-known temples, shrines, and traditional gardens. Additional information is given below.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • Accepting both indigenous and foreign students
  • The candidate needs to be a college student.
  • must be enrolled in an Asian college or university.
  • Before the internship starts, you must have finished at least your first year of undergraduate study.
  • After finishing the internship, there must be at least one semester left.

Japan is the host nation.

Program Length: Eight Weeks

Dates of the internship: June 5–August 6, 2026

Financing: Completely Funded

  • 90,000 JPY when the program first began
  • 90,000 yen once more in the middle of July
