Eligibility Criteria :
- possess a degree in a relevant subject of study.
- Show a keen interest in the dynamics and ecology of disturbance-driven ecosystems, particularly savannas, with a focus on ecosystem resilience and the ecology of fire and/or hurricanes.
- Demonstrate an interest in quantitative wood anatomy, such as researching the development of resin ducts and anatomical fire adaptations, as well as in employing remote sensing instruments, like aerial or terrestrial lidar, to examine the structure and function of ecosystems.
