HEC Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship 2026 for Pakistani Students (Fully Funded)

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan is currently accepting applications for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program 2026–2027 from citizens of Pakistan and AJ&K. This esteemed scholarship, which was started by the Hungarian government, provides students with completely funded opportunity to pursue bachelor’s, master’s, PhD, and One-Tier Master’s (OTM) degrees at top Hungarian universities.

This scholarship ensures that students can fully concentrate on their studies by covering all tuition costs, medical insurance, housing, a monthly stipend, and travel expenses to Hungary. Outstanding Pakistani students who fulfill the language and academic prerequisites for their selected program are eligible. Eligibility Criteria:

  • must be a citizen of Pakistan or AJ&K.
  • By August 31, 2026, the minimum age is eighteen.
  • Candidates awaiting results may apply, but they must turn in their final degree certificates by August 1, 2026.
  • Required academic credentials:
  • Bachelor’s degrees: Intermediate/HSSC completed
  • Master’s programs: a sixteen-year bachelor’s degree
  • MS/MPhil degree programs for PhDs
  • A minimum score of 50% is needed on the HAT or USAT.
  • English language proficiency requirements:
  • Certain universities may demand the TOEFL or IELTS.
  • If not, a certificate of English proficiency is sufficient.
  • Those with two nationalities are ineligible.
