Government of Taiwan ICDF Scholarship 2026 for International Students | Fully Funded

In partnership with leading Taiwanese universities, the TaiwanICDF Scholarship provides fully financed opportunities for overseas students to pursue undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. It offers complete financial assistance, which includes a NT$20,000 monthly stipend in addition to tuition, flights, and lodging. Eligibility Criteria :

  • must be a citizen of a nation designated as eligible for the TaiwanICDF Scholarship and fulfill any requirements imposed by their government or nation.
  • must be a student from another country or a citizen of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
  • must meet the partner university’s admission requirements in order to be eligible for the TaiwanICDF Scholarship.
  • must receive an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) from Taiwan’s Ministry of the Interior and fulfill all requirements for a Resident Visa (FS) granted by the Bureau of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • If the visa criteria are not fulfilled, TaiwanICDF has the authority to cancel the scholarship.

Benefits :

  • Airfare: The most direct Economy Class flights to and from Taiwan are arranged by TaiwanICDF.
  • Housing: University residence halls are required for all students.
  • As mandated by the university, tuition fees are fully funded by TaiwanICDF.
  • Credit fees are paid based on how many credits are registered.
  • Insurance: Contains extra accidental and medical coverage for the duration of the program in addition to the required student safety insurance.
  • Books: The institute director’s approved textbook prices are reimbursed.

Monthly Allotment:

  • NT$15,000 for undergraduates
  • Master’s degree: NT$18,000
  • Ph.D.: $20,000 NT
  • Every month, money is transferred to the student’s local bank account to pay for living expenses and meals.
