SEDarc Scholarships in the UK 2026 for International Students | Fully Funded

Six top UK institutions are collaborating with the South East Doctoral Training Arc (SEDarc) in the UK to provide international students with fully financed scholarships. In addition to covering tuition at the home rate, the SEDarc Scholarship offers an annual living stipend of £22,780 to help with living expenses. SEDarc provides top-notch postgraduate research training in the social sciences with funding from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). Researchers are able to carry out significant and creative research thanks to the program’s sponsorship of doctorate studentships. SEDarc is to deliver outstanding training that stimulates innovation, propels discovery, and equips researchers to succeed in interdisciplinary, team-based, and challenge-driven settings. This grant gives students the tools they need to make contributions in their professions both domestically and internationally.

  • To apply for the PhD program, one of the six SEDarc institutions must nominate you.
