ICGEB Arturo Falaschi Postdoctoral Fellowships 2026 (Fully Funded)

Highly driven researchers who want to further their postdoctoral careers in cutting-edge molecular biology, biotechnology, and allied life sciences are the target audience for the Arturo Falaschi Postdoctoral Fellowships. These fellowships offer complete financial assistance for a typical two-year term, with the possibility of a one-year extension contingent on funding availability and performance. A competitive monthly income, full health insurance, and other advantages including funding for conferences, travel, and research-related costs are all included in the fellowship package.

The ICGEB Early Career Research Grants, which offer extra support to start independent research projects as young Principal Investigators in an ICGEB Member State, may be available to fellows who exhibit outstanding research performance.

Named for one of the Center’s founding visionaries, Prof. Arturo Falaschi, the ICGEB Arturo Falaschi Fellowship Program offers five categories of scholarships for both short- and long-term PhD and postdoctoral fellowships. Scientists who are citizens of ICGEB Member States can use these possibilities to conduct advanced research at any of the ICGEB laboratories in Cape Town, South Africa; New Delhi, India; or Trieste, Italy.

The curriculum places a strong emphasis on innovation, scientific excellence, and the training of future leaders in molecular biology and biotechnology research. Fellows gain access to collaborative research settings, networking opportunities with a worldwide community of researchers, and mentorship by globally renowned scientists.
