The 2026 UNESCO Great Wall China Scholarship, a fully financed opportunity for international scholars and students, is currently accepting applications. The scholarship offers a living stipend of ¥42,000 and pays for tuition, housing, health insurance, travel, and visa expenses.

Eligibility Criteria :

Programs for One-Year Visiting Scholars:

  • General Scholars: maximum age of 45, high school degree
  • Senior Scholars: at least a master’s degree or an associate professor, with a maximum age of 50
  • Language: HSK Level 3 for programs taught in Chinese; English competence necessary

Programs for Degrees:

  • Master’s Degree: Bachelor’s degree, up to age 35
  • Doctorate: Master’s degree, up to age 40
  • Language: HSK Level 4 for programs taught in Chinese; English competence necessary

Extra Conditions:

  • Fulfill academic and linguistic requirements for university admission
