For exceptional African students wishing to pursue a master’s degree at the American University in Cairo (AUC), the AUC African Graduate Fellowship is a highly competitive, fully financed opportunity. Full tuition, a monthly living stipend, housing, and health insurance-covered medical procedures are all covered by the fellowship. It is granted for a maximum of five semesters plus one summer session, provided that each semester’s academic achievement is adequate. Every year, fellowships for full-time study in any qualified AUC graduate program are given to non-Egyptian African nationalities; the program specifies the minimum number of credits required per semester. Funding for the Counseling Psychology program could last up to seven semesters.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Be an African national who is not Egyptian.
- Candidates who hold two non-African nationalities are ineligible.
- All graduate programs at AUC are welcome to apply.
- New applicants must fulfill all graduate admission standards and be accepted into an AUC graduate degree program.
- Send in a valid Academic IELTS or TOEFL iBT score that meets AUC’s entrance requirements.
- In order to keep the fellowship, continuing students must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2.
