The African Union Centre for Disease Control (Africa CDC) offers a fully financed fellowship for prospective African public health leaders called the Kofi Annan Global Health Leadership Programme. During residential placements, the program offers daily allowances, insurance, travel assistance, and access to digital and residential learning resources. The fellowship was established in collaboration with the Kofi Annan Foundation with the goal of providing senior public health professionals from African Union Member States with the knowledge and abilities required to plan, oversee, and direct revolutionary public health initiatives throughout the continent. Additionally, fellows serve as mentors to the upcoming generation of public health experts, helping to establish a new public health order for the continent..
Eligibility Criteria :
- Be a citizen of a member state of the African Union
- possess a postgraduate degree in a discipline connected to public health.
- possess more than ten years of work experience following the completion of a master’s degree
- work full-time for a governmental or private healthcare organization.
- Show that you have the ability to lead.
