The Big Data Summer Immersion at Yale (BDSY) 2026, a fully funded six-week summer program held at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, USA, is currently accepting applications. Both international and American students are welcome to participate in the program, which will span from June 15 to July 24, 2026. By combining knowledge from biostatistics, statistics, engineering, epidemiology, and computer science, BDSY focuses on using big data to enhance human health. Participants will be equipped to contribute to innovation in public health and healthcare by gaining practical experience and insightful knowledge about jobs in biostatistics and data-driven health research.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Undergraduate students are eligible.
- Seniors who are graduating are eligible to apply, although rising juniors and seniors are given precedence.
- International students are welcome to apply for the few scholarships that are not supported by the NIH.
- Residency: Not just Connecticut residents, but students from other U.S. states and abroad are welcome to apply.
