General Eligibility
- Must be an international student enrolled at NYCU
- Should not be receiving other Taiwan government scholarships (exceptions may apply)
- Must possess a valid Alien Residence Certificate (ARC) for study purposes
Academic Requirements
- Undergraduate students: Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Master’s & Ph.D. students: Minimum GPA of 3.5
- Elite Ph.D. Scholarship (for renewal): Minimum GPA of 3.76
Language Requirement
- Undergraduate awardees: Completion of at least 4 Mandarin courses
- Master’s & Ph.D. awardees: Completion of at least 2 Mandarin courses

Outstanding Existing Student Scholarship
- Provides a monthly stipend and/or tuition scholarship
