The 2026 EARTH University Mastercard Scholarship is currently accepting applications from qualified students in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Sub-Saharan Africa. This fully funded fellowship, which is provided in collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation, pays for books, stationery, a laptop, living expenses, tuition, and other necessary study supplies.
The program, which is a component of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, is intended to assist young leaders from underprivileged communities. Students at EARTH University will receive a total of 120 scholarships. About one-third of the winners are chosen from Sub-Saharan Africa, and scholars are expected to grow as leaders and make significant contributions to agricultural innovation and economic development in their native countries.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Be a resident and high school graduate from a Latin American or Sub-Saharan African nation.
- Show that your country’s lowest two income quintiles correspond to your level of financial need.
- Perform exceptionally well academically within your educational system.
- Demonstrate leadership abilities and engage in extracurricular activities.
- Show a strong desire to go back to Africa and aid in the socioeconomic development of the continent.
- Have completed the necessary academic requirements or graduated from an accredited secondary school.
- Depending on the nation, fulfill the English language requirements
