The Reuters Institute Fellowship 2026 at Oxford, UK, is now accepting applications. Participants may remain at the Reuters Institute in Oxford, which is about an hour’s drive from London, for three to six months during this fully paid fellowship. Thirty fellows are chosen annually from all across the world. Airfare, visa fees, and a monthly stipend for lodging, meals, and personal expenses are all covered by the fellowship; there is no application fee.

Through lectures, workshops, individual research, and conversations with fellow fellows, the fellowship seeks to assist participants in delving deeply into journalism. Every participant in the program works on a project that develops their abilities and progresses their journalism career.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • All nationals are eligible.
  • Experience: Five years or more of professional journalism experience is required; in extraordinary circumstances, comparable experience may be taken into consideration.
  • Field: Applicants that work in corporate communications, public relations, or public affairs are not eligible; freelancers are welcome.
  • Global Reach: Journalists from Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific, North America, and Latin America are urged to apply.
  • Language Requirement: It is not necessary to speak English.

United Kingdom is the host nation.
