Young Africans are encouraged to apply for the Songhai/Mastercard Youth Agricultural Empowerment Scheme 2026 by the Mastercard Foundation. This fully funded program equips learners to become contemporary farm managers, technicians, and agro-entrepreneurs by offering practical training in sustainable farming and agro-business. Meals, lodging, training materials, certification, and financial business support are all included in the three-month program. Over the next three years, the program hopes to train more than 3,000 young Nigerians in agriculture, with young women making up 70% of the participants. Participants get technical skills, business insights, and chances to support Africa’s green economy through hands-on experience and specialized training. This fully financed boot camp in contemporary agriculture and agro-entrepreneurship is currently accepting applications.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Age Requirement: 18 to 35
- You must have launched an agriculture business or have a strong desire to do so.
- Oyo, Ebonyi, or Owerri must be accessible.
- should have a support system in place to guarantee that their agricultural project is carried out successfully.
Mastercard Foundation | Songhai is the host.
Nigeria is one of the training-eligible nations.
