UNESCO World Heritage Scholarship 2027, Sweden (Fully Funded)

A special chance to live and work at the Decorated Farmhouses of Hälsingland, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Sweden, is provided to chosen recipients of the UNESCO World Heritage Residence Scholarship 2026. The residency encourages cultural experts, academics, authors, designers, architects, and creative practitioners to investigate the connections between this heritage site and other World Heritage sites across the globe.

Participants will have access to historical locations, an inspiring rural setting, and chances for scholarly contemplation, cross-cultural engagement, and creative output during the four-week fully supported residency. Projects presented through art, design, research, narrative, exhibitions, or cultural documentation are supported by the program.

All major costs are paid, including daily living assistance and lodging at traditional Swedish farmhouses. All nationalities are eligible for the scholarship, which doesn’t need an application fee or an English language test (TOEFL or IELTS).

This summer 2027 residency offers a unique opportunity to live in one of Sweden’s most stunning historic sites while deeply engaging with UNESCO ideals, global heritage, and cultural sustainability.
