Eligibility Criteria:

General Eligibility Criteria:

  • Proficiency in English
  • Must not be receiving any other scholarship at the time of application
  • Required to be medically fit
  • Demonstrated commitment to return to the home country and contribute to community development after graduation

Undergraduate Applicants:

  • Completion of secondary education (12 years of schooling)
  • Strong academic performance in major subjects

Master’s Applicants:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with very good academic standing
  • Preferably relevant professional or research experience
  • A research proposal aligned with national or development priorities

PhD Applicants:

  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Excellent academic record
  • A research proposal demonstrating clear development impact
  • Postdoctoral Applicants:
  • A PhD degree in an approved discipline
  • At least two years of research experience
  • A strong publication record and demonstrated research capacity

Vocational Education and Training (VET) Applicants:

  • Citizenship of an eligible Least Developed Member Country (LDMC)
  • Completion of high school education with good academic results
