Applications are now open for the GIST Global Internship 2026 in South Korea, a fully funded international summer internship at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST). This program is offered to undergraduate and master’s students from around the world and offers an 8-week immersion research experience in GIST laboratories during the summer.
IELTS or other English language test results are not necessary, and there is no application fee. July 2026 is when the internship will start. The program’s primary goal is to give students real-world research experience so they can work on creative ideas under the direction of GIST experts.
