Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust Master’s Scholarships 2026, UK (Fully Funded)

The 2026 Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust Master’s Scholarships for overseas students from developing nations are now available from the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom. Only a few courses connected to the Sheffield Institute for International Development are eligible for these scholarships.

Beginning in September 2026, each scholarship supports qualified international fee-paying students by covering their whole tuition costs plus a maintenance stipend of £12,500. Three scholarships in all will be given out for this intake.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • Courses Eligible: Must have a University of Sheffield offer for one of the following in 2026–2027:
  • MA in International Development
  • Master of Science in Environmental Change and International Development
  • MPH in International Development
  • The LLM in International Law and Global Justice
  • MA in International Political Economy
  • MA in Global Journalism
  • Master of Arts in International Public and Political Communication
  • Overseas Status: For tuition purposes, it must be considered overseas.
  • Academic Requirement: No prior comparable or higher level qualification is required.
  • Prior Study: No study abroad must have been completed.
  • Funding: No other scholarships may be held; must be self-funded.
  • Study Mode: Only full-time.
  • Start Date: Deferral is not permitted; must start in 2026.
  • Conditions: Needs to get a study visa and fulfill all offer conditions.
  • According to the World Bank, a person must be a citizen or a permanent resident in a low- or lower-middle-income nation.

The United Kingdom is the host nation (UK).
