Australia Awards Scholarships (Fully Funded) 2026

International students can pursue undergraduate or graduate studies in Australia with full funding provided by the Government of Australia through the Australia Awards Scholarships. Tuition, housing, living expenses, airfare, health insurance, pre-course English (PCE), research support, and additional academic aid are all covered by the scholarship.

The program’s primary goal is to equip participants from developing nations—especially those in Africa and the Indo-Pacific region—with the knowledge and abilities necessary to effect change and advance their own nations.

In line with Australia’s regional development initiatives, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade administers the Australia Awards Scholarships, which provide full-time study support at participating universities and TAFE institutions.   • Nationality: International students from impoverished nations are required.

  • Scholarship Agreement: Applicants must agree to abide by all scholarship requirements by signing a contract with the Commonwealth of Australia.
  • Return Requirement: After receiving the scholarship, scholars must stay in their home country for at least two years; if they don’t, they will be liable for the whole cost of the award.

  • For the term of the award, basic medical costs are covered by Overseas Student Health Coverage (OSHC), with the exception of pre-existing conditions.
  • If necessary, pre-course English (PCE) is offered for training in Australia or the country.
  • Additional Academic Support: Provided to guarantee academic achievement or improve the educational process.
  • Fieldwork Support: Provides one return economy ticket for required fieldwork to qualified research students.
