Students can pursue a Master’s degree at participating Hungarian universities with full funding through the FAO Hungarian Government Scholarship. The scholarship, which is jointly funded by the Hungarian government and the United Nations, covers living expenses, basic books and notes, tuition, housing, and health insurance.
The goal of the English-language program is to produce qualified experts in the fields of food and agriculture sciences. The following Master’s programs are offered for the 2025–2026 academic year:
Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Szent István Campus, Gödöllő Agricultural Biotechnology
Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Kaposvár Campus, Animal Nutrition & Feed Safety Engineering
Plant Protection at the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences, University of Debrecen

Eligibility Criteria :
- Citizenship and residency: You have to be a citizen and a resident of a nation that qualifies.
- Academic Excellence: Exhibit exceptional academic performance.
- Language Proficiency: Able to understand English for classes that are taught in that language.
- Motivation: Needs to be very interested in and dedicated to the program.
- Health: Both mental and physical well-being are required.
- Candidates under 30 years old are given preference.
