The Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech) University Russia Scholarship 2026, a fully financed program for overseas students, is currently accepting applications. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master of Science (MSc) programs in a range of science and technology domains are supported by the scholarship.
Moscow-based Skoltech, which was founded in collaboration with MIT, is well known for its cutting-edge, research-driven programs. About 120 PhD students and 280 MSc students were awarded fellowships in 2024. Although SAT, GRE, or IELTS results are not necessary, applicants must have a strong academic record and the ability to conduct research.
Full tuition, living expenses, health insurance, and housing are all covered by the scholarship. The PhD program lasts three years, whereas the MSc program lasts two. Eligibility Criteria:
- Both domestic and foreign students are eligible to apply.
- Candidates for the master’s program must have a relevant bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or its equivalent.
- Doctoral Program: Candidates must have a master’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited university.
- Undergraduate students in their last year may apply.
- Applicants with a master’s degree already in hand may also submit an application.
- If the applicant has graduated from an English-speaking university, they are exempt from taking the TOEFL or IELTS.
- The Skoltech application does not need the submission of a general GRE score.
- Applicants are not required to have a minimum GPA.
