PolyU Hong Kong International Summer School 2026, Hong Kong (Fully Funded)

Applications are now open for the PolyU Hong Kong International Summer School 2026, a fully funded two-week academic program hosted by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). Outstanding bachelor’s and master’s degree candidates from all over the world who are interested in research, innovation, and further education are welcome to apply to this competitive summer school.

The program is intended to provide participants with an immersive academic and cultural experience, and it will take place in Hong Kong from June 29 to July 9, 2026. Students will have the chance to collaborate directly with PolyU researchers, instructors, and current postgraduate students throughout the program. They will tour cutting-edge research facilities, laboratories, and multidisciplinary facilities from various faculties.

The purpose of the summer program is to familiarize participants with PolyU’s PhD prospects and research strengths. Students will take part in research talks, academic workshops, seminars, and networking events that emphasize creativity, international cooperation, and practical problem solving. The program offers cultural and social events in addition to academic exposure, giving participants the chance to interact with people throughout the world and experience Hong Kong’s dynamic international environment.

Since the program is fully supported, chosen participants usually receive assistance that may pay for program fees or tuition, housing, and other associated costs. All things considered, the PolyU International Summer School provides gifted students who are thinking about pursuing a PhD at PolyU with a route to success, enabling them to obtain practical research experience and build important academic relationships for their future employment.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • There are no country-specific restrictions, and people of any nationality are welcome to apply.
  • Applications are open to undergraduate (bachelor’s) students from accredited universities.
  • Applications may also be submitted by students now enrolled in master’s degree programs.
  • For the course of the program, chosen candidates must be able to attend every session of the Summer School in person on campus.
  • The application process does not require the results of the IELTS or any other English language test.

  • Participants are provided with free lodging for the duration of the program.
  • Costs associated with visas, such as application or processing fees, are sponsored or paid.
  • For certain participants, the program administration cost is completely eliminated.
  • To help with daily costs like meals and local transit, a monetary allowance is given.
