Azerbaijan Government Scholarship 2026/27 (Fully Funded)

The Azerbaijan Government Scholarship 2026–2027, a distinguished program created in memory of Heydar Aliyev, the country’s national leader, is now accepting applications. Under the “Heydar Aliyev” International Education Grant Program, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan jointly oversee the program for the 2026–2027 academic year.

The purpose of this fully financed scholarship is to assist deserving foreign students who want to study in Azerbaijan. It offers chances to enroll in undergraduate, graduate, doctoral (PhD), general medicine, or medical residency programs at top Azerbaijani universities, as well as preparatory courses. Depending on the level and topic of study, support can last up to five years. There will be about 100 applicants chosen for this tough program.

In order to allow students to fully concentrate on their studies, the scholarship usually covers significant academic costs like tuition, international travel, monthly living allowance, medical insurance, and visa-related charges. To apply, there is no application fee needed.

The program’s objectives are to foster cultural exchange, improve international cooperation, and aid in the growth of human capital in all participating nations. Before submitting their applications, applicants are urged to carefully consider the eligibility requirements, necessary paperwork, nomination processes, and application deadlines.
