The 2026 CNIO Summer Training Program in Spain, a fully supported research opportunity for undergraduate students of all nationalities, is currently accepting applications. The Spanish National Cancer Research Centre in Madrid, one of the top cancer research facilities in Europe, is hosting the program.
Four exceptional university students from all around the world will be chosen under this program to take part in an eight-week intensive research residency that will take place from June 29 to August 21, 2026. Participants will obtain practical research experience in biomedicine, cancer biology, and life sciences while working at CNIO laboratories.
Students who want to pursue a career in scientific research are the target audience for this instruction. In order to gain knowledge of contemporary laboratory procedures and research methodologies, chosen participants will join a research group and work on projects under the careful supervision of seasoned scientists and research mentors.

Eligibility Criteria:
- The program is open to students from all nations.
- Only undergraduate students enrolled in accredited universities are eligible for the summer training program.
- Undergraduates in their last year who will soon graduate are also invited to apply.
- Since the curriculum and research activities are performed in English, candidates should be proficient in the language.
