Armament and Disarmament Summer School 2026 in Sweden | Fully Funded

The fully funded Armament and Disarmament Summer School 2026 program in Sweden is currently accepting applications. The Alva Myrdal Center for Nuclear Disarmament at Uppsala University and the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute are in charge of organizing the program.

Students, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and young professionals from all around the world will attend the five-day summer school from August 24 to August 28, 2026. About 25 people are chosen to participate in the program each year.

The primary objective is to create a network of knowledgeable experts dedicated to promoting security, peace, and long-term international collaboration. Below is further information on the program’s specifics, eligibility, and application procedure.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • All countries are welcome to apply.
  • Students, researchers, practitioners, legislators, and professionals just starting their careers are all eligible.
  • Before the program starts, applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree.
  • must have recently graduated or be enrolled at a university.
  • Applications from previous Summer School attendees are not accepted.

Sweden is the host nation.
