Both domestic and foreign students can pursue postgraduate research opportunities in the United States through Arizona State University’s 2026 scholarship. About $35,000 is provided annually for living expenses and tuition through this subsidized Graduate Research Assistantship.
The Wildlife Ecology Research team at the university is looking for a driven M.S. student to join the lab. The calling phenology and pathogen prevalence of the Lowland Leopard Frog along the San Pedro River in southern Arizona are the main subjects of the study.
A Graduate Services Assistant (GSA) position will be filled by chosen students, who will spend 20 hours a week during the school year and up to 40 hours a week during the summer while earning useful research experience.
Eligibility Criteria :
- A bachelor’s degree in environmental or conservation science, ecology, wildlife biology, or a similar discipline
- Excellent communication skills both in writing and speaking
- Strong data management and quantitative analysis skills
- The ability to function both independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to conduct fieldwork in American desert and aquatic areas
- The ability to drive a personal vehicle to field sites (mileage will be compensated; a high-clearance vehicle is essential)
