The RIKEN RIH Summer Internship 2026, a fully sponsored research opportunity in Kyoto, Japan, is currently accepting applications. Undergraduate and graduate students from all around the world, including Japan, are welcome to enroll in the program.
Participants must identify their availability on the application form and have the choice of an internship lasting four or eight weeks. This program does not require an IELTS score or an application fee.
At the RIKEN Guardian Robot Project, interns will contribute to cutting-edge research projects with an emphasis on robotics, advanced technology, and research and development (R&D). Working with prominent academics at one of Japan’s premier research organizations, this internship offers invaluable practical experience.
Eligibility Criteria :
- All nationalities are welcome to apply.
- Applications are open to both graduate and undergraduate students.
- From the time of application until the internship program is finished, applicants must continue to be enrolled in an academic institution.
- It is not necessary to take the IELTS or any other English test.
Japan is the host nation.
