Applications for the 2026 International Students Scholarship are currently being accepted at Xiamen University in China. International students who want to enroll in the university’s bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree programs are eligible for this completely financed opportunity.
For chosen applicants, the scholarship offers a living stipend of up to ¥36,000 annually in addition to covering all tuition costs. The scholarship was created in 2006 with the goal of assisting gifted students from all over the world in obtaining a top-notch education at Xiamen University.
While exceptional postgraduate students will also receive monthly living allowances depending on the requirements of the Chinese Government Scholarship, successful applicants will receive financial support throughout their studies. This program provides a great chance to study at one of China’s top colleges.
Eligibility Criteria :
Requirements for a Bachelor’s Degree :
- non-Chinese nationals between the ages of 18 and 30 by September 1, 2026.
- must have a valid passport and be in good physical and mental condition.
- must be a high school graduate with a strong academic record or possess a high school diploma.
Qualifications for a Master’s Degree :
- citizens who are not Chinese and are younger than 45.
- must be graduating from an undergraduate program or possess a bachelor’s degree.
- must have a current passport and be in excellent health.
Requirements for a Doctorate :
- non-Chinese nationals under 50.
- must be a graduate of a master’s program or possess a master’s degree.
- Language Prerequisites
- Depending on the program, HSK 4–5 (210+).
- English-medium certificates, IELTS 6.0+, or TOEFL 80+ are acceptable.
