University of Illinois Springfield Scholarship 2026, USA – Fully Funded

Both local and foreign students can apply for a fully supported Master’s Assistantship at the University of Illinois Springfield in the United States. In addition to covering all tuition costs, this program offers a $20,250 yearly stipend to help with living expenditures.

The application of GeoAI to ecological research and environmental monitoring is the main emphasis of the MS-level Graduate Research Assistantship. The program will begin on August 16, 2026, and operate for two years.

Yun Zhao and Tih-Fen Ting will oversee the chosen students as they do research on topics like wildlife conservation, invasive species monitoring, and habitat restoration.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • educational background in computer science, ecology, conservation, or environmental science
  • Excellent writing and math abilities
  • GIS and statistics coursework and practical practice
  • a track record of excellent academic achievement
  • Capacity to carry out long-term fieldwork
  • Outstanding attention to detail and a strong work ethic
