For 2026, overseas students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees in Pakistan are eligible to apply for fully supported scholarships from COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI). For the course of the program—typically two, three, or four years for bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs—the scholarship pays for all tuition.
By working with foreign governments and organizations to sponsor students, CUI hopes to draw in talent from around the world. Currently, the university’s campuses are home to more than 400 international students from 18 different countries. Eligibility Criteria :
Master’s Candidates:
- possess a 16-year degree in a related subject.
- A minimum score of 50 on the NTS GAT (General) or passing a departmental exam
- A minimum CGPA of 60% (annual system) or 2.5/4.0 (semester system)
- English proficiency: TOEFL (iBT) 70, IELTS 6.0, or a certificate from the previous school
PhD Candidates:
- possess eighteen years of study in a relevant discipline (MS/M.Phil with thesis or equivalent).
- A minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 or 70% (no third division or “D” grade throughout academic career) is required.
- A minimum score of 60 on the NTS GAT (Subject) or passing a departmental exam
Pakistan is the host nation.
