International students can apply for fully financed British Council English and School Education Scholarships offered by the UK Government in collaboration with the Universities of Stirling and Portsmouth. For qualified applicants enrolled in MA/MSc online or distance learning programs, the grant pays for all living expenses, return airfare, and tuition.
Scholars will enroll in flexible, part-time courses for up to 30 months beginning in September 2026. These courses will include a two-week study travel to the UK for networking, academic collaboration, and cultural interaction. Faculty from UK universities, specialized learning materials, professional mentoring, and knowledge of teacher development and education leadership will all be available to participants.
After graduation, scholars become part of the global alumni network of the British Council, which promotes ongoing professional development and cross-border cooperation.
Eligibility Criteria :
- must be a permanent resident of an eligible nation and possess a passport.
- Employment in or close to the government-run educational system
- Become an active teacher educator or English language instructor.
- fulfill the prerequisites for admission to the chosen master’s program.
- Show a significant dedication to enhancing national English Language Teaching (ELT) programs.
- Take part in alumni events and British Council monitoring
United Kingdom is the host nation.
Scholarships for Postgraduate and Master’s Programs
