The NDDC Postgraduate Scholarship 2026, which gives young Nigerians the chance to attend overseas colleges of their choice, is currently accepting applications. For chosen applicants, this fully financed program pays for living expenses, tuition, flights, and visa fees.
The Niger Delta Development Commission’s (NDDC) initiative seeks to increase human capacity and give Niger Deltans the skills they need to compete internationally and support their country’s development.
Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degrees in disciplines like agricultural sciences, engineering, environmental sciences, geosciences, information technology, law, management sciences, medicine, architecture, and hospitality management are required of eligible candidates.
Eligibility Criteria :
- The Niger Delta area (Ondo, Imo, Delta, Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Edo, or Abia) must be the source.
- must have finished the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), which is required.
- possess a first degree with a minimum of a second class lower division (for those pursuing a master’s degree).
- There must be no criminal history and no affiliation with any cult.
- must have been accepted into a postgraduate program at a foreign university in a related field.
The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) is the host.
Study locations include the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa.
Scholarships for Postgraduate and Master’s Programs
Nigeria is a qualifying nation.
