Scholars and cultural professionals from Latin America and the Caribbean can apply for the extremely competitive, fully funded CALAS-HIAS Fellowship 2026. It provides a six-month residency in Germany devoted to advanced interdisciplinary research and is jointly coordinated by the Hamburg Institute for Advanced Study (HIAS) and the Maria Sibylla Merian Center for Advanced Latin American Studies (CALAS).
