For an interdisciplinary watershed conservation project in the Neosho River Watershed in northeastern Oklahoma, the Environmental Science Graduate Program is looking for two driven M.S. students. The project supports conservation planning in areas like tallgrass prairies and the Tar Creek Superfund Site by combining hydrology, ecology, rangeland science, and nature-based solutions.
Under the guidance of Drs. Scott Stoodley and Jaime Schussler, a chosen group of students will carry out research while obtaining important academic and practical experience.

Qualifications Needed:
- A bachelor’s degree in environmental science, ecology, hydrology, geography, environmental engineering, or a closely related field.
- admission to the M.S. program in environmental science at OSU. the capacity to perform field evaluations and work in outside settings. a current driver’s license.
Preferred Requirements:
- familiarity with GIS (QGIS or ArcGIS). knowledge of hydrologic modeling, ecological evaluation, or watershed analysis.
- knowledge of analyzing environmental data.
