Round 2 of the Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) 2026 is now accepting applications. International students can study a master’s degree at participating universities in the US, Europe, Africa, Oceania, or Japan thanks to this completely supported opportunity.
In order to qualify, candidates must first receive an offer of unconditional admission from a master’s program that is taking part. The scholarship application link will only be sent to those who are accepted. The World Bank Scholarship does not require an application fee. Eligibility Criteria :
- Nationality: A citizen of a developing nation is required.
- Citizenship: You cannot be a dual citizen of any developed nation.
- Health: You should be in decent physical shape.
- Education: At least three years prior to the application deadline, possess a bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent).
- Admission: Prior to the deadline, unconditional admission to a participating program must have been obtained.
- Experience at Work: Within the last six years, have at least three years of full-time, paid experience in development-related employment (part-time may be considered).
