The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, in partnership with the German Academic Exchange Service, is offering a distinguished international research opportunity called the JSPS Fellowships 2026 (Short-Term). This fully financed initiative encourages intellectual interaction between Germany and Japan by enabling German researchers to conduct short-term studies at prestigious universities and research facilities in Japan.
PhD candidates and early-career postdoctoral researchers who want to broaden their research experience in a global context are the target audience for this scholarship. It offers collaboration with top Japanese researchers, access to state-of-the-art labs, and cutting-edge technologies. In addition to enhancing their academic reputation and international network, participants gain from working in a highly innovative research setting.
All things considered, the program is a great way to develop long-term research collaborations, improve scientific abilities, and learn about Japan’s top-notch research facilities.
