United Nations UNHCR TAGDev Scholarship 2.0 for Africans | Fully Funded

The UNHCR TAGDev Scholarship 2.0 for young Africans is now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 school year. Students pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degrees in agriculture and related subjects are supported by this fully financed program. It offers complete financial support, including living stipends, tuition, travel expenses, and lodging assistance.

RUFORUM, Mastercard Foundation, GCHERA, and twelve African universities have partnered to create the TAGDev 2.0 initiative (Transforming African Agricultural Universities for Development). By enabling universities and TVET institutions to generate qualified graduates who can lead inclusive, sustainable, and climate-resilient agricultural and agri-food systems, the program seeks to improve agricultural education. Additionally, it places a strong emphasis on community development, entrepreneurship, and innovation, enabling students to support Africa’s agricultural sector’s expansion and transformation.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • A young African, either male or female, is required.
  • must be younger than 35.
  • must be motivated to pursue an agricultural bachelor’s or master’s degree.
  • Participation in program information and application guidance workshops is required.
  • It is highly recommended that candidates with impairments, refugees, asylum seekers, and internally displaced people apply.

Countries in Africa are eligible.
