The IFA Scholarship on Cultural Heritage Management and Museum Transformation in Germany is currently accepting applications. The €1500 monthly stipend for this fully financed three-to six-month program covers family allowances, public transportation, health insurance, visa, and airfare. The scholarship, which is funded by the Alexander Rave Foundation of ifa, is intended for cultural practitioners from DAC-listed nations with the goals of enhancing intercultural communication, fostering transnational cooperation, and deepening professional knowledge. Cultural heritage, collections, and archives are among the focus areas that promote knowledge sharing and long-term networks. Additionally, the program promotes open discussion, science, and artistic expression. Eligibility Criteria :
- Curators, restorers, mediators, and culture managers deal with cultural heritage, collections, and/or archive records in institutional contexts. They designate a non-commercial, physical host institution for each stay and submit a specific concept note created in collaboration with the host institution (this is crucial for scholarship awards!).
