For master’s and doctoral students in the United States, the Utah State University Scholarship is a fully paid graduate assistantship. For a maximum of two years, it offers a $24,500 annual stipend in addition to full tuition coverage. Selected applicants will work on a graduate research project at Utah State University’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources as members of a multidisciplinary research team. Faculty members like Drs. Michael Howe, Larissa Yocom, Justin DeRose, and Catrin Edgeley are involved in this highly collaborative initiative that aims to improve understanding of forest resource management. Two graduate students will be chosen to take part in this NNF cohort, where they will get complete financial support for their studies and living expenses in addition to acquiring invaluable research experience.
Eligibility Criteria :
- A master’s degree in forestry, entomology, ecology, or a closely related discipline is required for PhD candidates.
- Applicants for master’s degrees: A bachelor’s degree in forestry, ecology, biology, or a similar field is required.
- If they are extremely qualified, candidates with other academic backgrounds may also be taken into consideration.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative research abilities are a must for preferred candidates.
- It will be advantageous to have field expertise in pertinent fields.
