Google AI Fellowship for Data Center Community | Fully Funded 2026

Applications are now being accepted for Google and the Watson Institute’s fully funded 16-week virtual program, the Google Data Center Community AI Fellowship 2026. It is intended to enable entrepreneurs, innovators, and community leaders to leverage technology and artificial intelligence to address regional social, economic, and environmental issues. Fellows will receive individualized one-on-one mentorship from professionals, weekly meetings, online classes, and support from an Entrepreneur in Residence. In addition, the curriculum offers access to a worldwide professional network and financial assistance. Participants will hone their leadership and entrepreneurial abilities while creating and implementing significant solutions within Google Data Center communities. A crucial element is setting up a community-based “Basecamp” workshop with resources and advice to guarantee success.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • Candidates must be at least eighteen years old.
  • must be situated in a Google Data Center Community in the USA, Finland, the UK, or the Netherlands, or actively making an impact there.
  • Founders, business owners, or community leaders who use technology and AI in their work are ideal candidates.
  • Early indicators of success, such as experimental projects, active users, or quantifiable impact, should already be present in the venture.
  • Candidates must exhibit a track record of good transformation and substantial community involvement.
  • Whether they are for-profit or non-profit, their effort needs to be actively assisting communities and tackling local issues.
  • must dedicate themselves entirely to the 16-week fellowship program.
  • Attendance at the virtual immersion session from September 1–11, 2026, is mandatory.
  • Weekly workshops are required, and they take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
