The Matsumae International Foundation (MIF) Fellowship 2027 in Japan is now accepting applications. Eligibility Criteria:
- Be a citizen of a country other than Japan.
- Hold a Ph.D. degree at the time of application.
- Be 45 years of age or younger.
- Be employed in a full-time position in their home country.
- Intend to return to their home country after completing the fellowship.
- Possess adequate proficiency in English or Japanese to conduct research effectively.
- Secure acceptance from a host institution in Japan prior to submitting the application.
- Have no previous history of long-term residence in Japan (short-term visits for tourism, conferences, or similar purposes are permitted).
- Demonstrate outstanding academic qualifications and a strong record of research achievements.
