The RAVE Scholarship 2027, a fully financed opportunity for foreign professionals, scholars, and cultural heritage specialists in Germany, is currently accepting applications. The program, which is run by the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen (ifa) and funded by the Alexander Rave Foundation, provides funding for a three- to six-month professional or research stay at a German host university.
The goal of the scholarship is to increase participants’ expertise and hands-on experience in the field of cultural heritage management. Scholars will work with top German museums, cultural institutions, research facilities, and historical groups while they are there, receiving important exposure abroad and possibilities for professional growth.
The program fosters intercultural communication and global collaboration while supporting cultural heritage conservation, preservation, and sustainable management. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with professionals, broaden their professional networks, share best practices and information, and contribute to creative ways to protect cultural heritage.
By gaining access to Germany’s cutting-edge research facilities, cultural institutions, and professional resources, researchers can expand their knowledge, form fresh insights, and contribute to the worldwide promotion and preservation of cultural heritage. Long-term academic and professional collaborations between Germany and the global cultural heritage community are facilitated by the RAVE Scholarship.
