University of New Brunswick Scholarships 2026 in Canada | Fully Funded 

International students can pursue fully funded graduate studies in Canada through the University of New Brunswick (UNB) Scholarship 2026. The fellowship, which is available to deserving candidates pursuing MSc or PhD degrees, pays for all tuition costs and offers an annual living stipend. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at UNB’s Fredericton campus has openings in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Optimization, and Wireless Communications. Professor Jie Chen will oversee the chosen students, who may start their studies in the fall of 2026 or the winter of 2027. Applications are invited from driven individuals with solid academic credentials and a genuine interest in these fields of study. 

Eligibility Criteria : 

  • Candidates must have experience in computer engineering, electrical engineering, communication engineering, or a similar discipline.
  • It is necessary to have a solid college academic record and a minimum GPA of 3.3.
  • A Master’s degree and a strong academic background are prerequisites for PhD candidates; research papers are advantageous.
  • The University of New Brunswick’s English language competency criteria must be met by candidates. 

Canada is the host country.

IELTS is not required as an English test (subject to university admission standards).
