Outstanding overseas students have the chance to pursue a fully financed two-year Master’s degree in Global Human Development (GHD) in the United States through the Georgetown University GHD Scholarship 2027. The curriculum gives students the professional competence, real-world field experience, and quantitative abilities they need to tackle global development issues. Students from Sub-Saharan Africa, the Philippines, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East can apply for merit-based scholarships, which can cover all or part of their tuition. Students gain the information and leadership abilities necessary for prosperous careers in public policy and international development through coursework, internships, client-based projects, and practical learning.
Eligibility Criteria :
- possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- possess at least a B (or equivalent) in basic courses in statistics, macroeconomics, and microeconomics.
- Before enrolling in the program, finish all necessary courses. Since admissions are evaluated holistically, applicants may still apply before completing these requirements.
- Show that you are fluent in both English and at least one other language. Before graduating, students must pass an oral language competency test.
- After earning an undergraduate degree, have one to two years of full-time professional work experience (highly recommended).
- Living, studying, or working abroad is a great way to get international experience.
