We would love to speak with you at the Centre for Digital Thriving!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the academic year 2024\u20132025, we are presently accepting applications for our first-ever Digital Thriving Fellows program. As a Fellow, you will join a community of like-minded individuals who collaborate in a variety of fields, interests, and backgrounds. We will discuss how to foster digital empowerment through projects that are youth-focused, equity-driven, and critically optimistic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We encourage you to submit if you are actively working on ideas, projects, or research that in today&#8217;s technologically advanced environment can help young people and society as a whole. Your unique viewpoint and talents may be crucial in creating a future in which youth prosper and meaningfully use technology into their daily lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The purpose of starting this program<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create a community that values mutual aid and practice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encourage the creation of new concepts, processes, and tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Offer support for continuing initiatives related to new topics relevant to thriving in a tech-driven setting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We especially welcome entries from U.S.-based researchers, K\u201312 teachers, designers, legislators, artists, community leaders, makers, and other relevant professionals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>These candidates should be highly motivated, have a track record of success, and be deeply committed to fostering flourishing in a technologically advanced society.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants are not eligible to apply at this time if they are currently enrolled full-time as graduate or undergraduate students. But in some cases, part-time students can be eligible; don&#8217;t hesitate to get in touch with us if you need more information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Funded Fellowships: Each funded fellow will receive a grant of $25,000 to help with project-related costs, including travel, materials, time, and conference\/event registration fees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fellowships that are externally funded: Recipients of these fellowships have raised the necessary funds on their own to directly support their initiatives.
