The goal of this program is to increase involvement from the communities most impacted by climate change and give voice to underrepresented groups in international climate negotiations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants will interact with experts, activists, and decision-makers, develop solid international networks, and be directly exposed to international climate policymaking through this program. Additionally, the program emphasizes capacity building, giving participants the information and resources they need to successfully promote climate justice in their local communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The camp, which will take place from June 7 to June 17, 2026, will include debates, workshops, and interactive sessions on important subjects like systemic inequality, climate policy, Indigenous rights, and sustainable development. In addition to gaining a deeper comprehension of these problems, participants will work together to develop strategies and solutions that will lead to significant change. Additional information is given below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Host Country: <\/strong>&nbsp;Bonn, Germany<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Opportunity Type: <\/strong>Summer Course, Camp Program<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Date:<\/strong> 7th June to 17th June 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility Country:<\/strong> International Students<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Financial Coverage: <\/strong>Fully Funded<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the Program<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Bonn Climate Camp (BCC) provides a collaborative platform for civil society, bringing together activists, organizations, and changemakers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It facilitates in-depth discussions on international climate negotiations and policy developments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The program promotes grassroots organizing and supports climate activism initiatives<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participants can engage in interactive workshops and creative sessions to exchange ideas and build skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It offers valuable networking opportunities with global climate leaders and fellow activists<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Active participation in climate justice efforts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The following requirements must be fulfilled by at least one nominee:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>be younger than thirty years old<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recognize yourself as nonmale.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have never been to a UNFCCC COP before<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>People with disabilities will be given priority consideration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nominees must be willing to help BCC on-site and offer comments, endorsements, videos, or other types of documentation following the camp.
