Continue reading to learn more about benefits, eligibility, and application criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Host Country:<\/strong> Netherlands<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>University: <\/b>University of Amsterdam<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Opportunity Type: <\/strong>Masters<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Subjects: <\/strong>All Subjects<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility Country:<\/strong> International Students<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Financial coverage: <\/strong>Partially funded<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A non-EU\/EEA or Swiss national is required for residency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eligibility for Dutch Financial Assistance: Must not be eligible for Dutch study grants, loans, or the EEA students&#8217; discounted tuition rates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No Other Full Scholarships: During the AMS term, applicants are not permitted to hold any other full-coverage scholarships.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MSc Program Admission: To be admitted to a UvA MSc program, a completed application must be submitted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Admission for the First Time: Must be starting an MSc program at UvA for the first time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visa Requirements: If applicable, must fulfill the requirements for a Dutch visa.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recent Academic Background: The applicant must have finished their prior course of study no more than three years ago.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reporting Changes: During the academic year, students are required to promptly inform the International Team of any changes to their nationality, residency permit status, or financial assistance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Overview of the Scholarship: To assist exceptional non-EU\/EEA students pursuing a master&#8217;s degree, the University of Amsterdam&#8217;s Faculty of Science offers the Amsterdam Merit Scholarship (AMS).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scholarship Amounts: Depending on the faculty and program, previous grants have ranged from \u20ac2,000 to \u20ac25,000.
