USA Government Fulbright Swedish Scholarship Program 2026-2027 (Fully Funded)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Citizenship Requirement: Must be a citizen of Sweden and not be dual-national in Sweden and the United States.
  • Language Proficiency: To participate in academic and research activities successfully, one must speak English fluently.
  • Educational Requirement: Before departing for the United States, a doctorate or other terminal degree must have been obtained.
  • The host should have a well-established connection to a reputable American university or research center.
  • Program Length: The suggested duration of stay in the United States must be between three and twelve months.
  • Current Status: Applicants must not be currently engaged in research or academic activity at any U.S. institution at the time of application.
